Removal of driving ban
If you have received a driving ban of more than two years, you may be able to apply to remove the ban after the expiry of the first two years. If you are looking for some legal help then we are here to listen and advise you – contact us today.
If you have been disqualified, you can apply for the disqualification to be lifted:
- After two years if the disqualification was fewer than four but more than two years;
- After half the disqualification has expired if the disqualification was between four and ten years; or
- After five years if the disqualification was over ten years.
If you have been disqualified for less than 2 years, you cannot apply for the ban to be removed by this procedure; the only way to reduce the ban is to appeal.
