Southampton driver banned for speeding offence and failing to tell police about the driver of a car involved in an offence
A Hampshire man has been banned from driving for six months after speeding and failing to tell police about the driver of a car involved in an offence.
The defendant concerned did not tell police about the driver between May 31 and June 7 last year.
He was also convicted of speeding on May 25.
The offences were proved in the defendant’s absence at Basingstoke Magistrates Court. They disqualified him from driving for six months, fined him £510 with a £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
